Century Group was requested by one of its residential landlords to survey a failing wall and to make recommendations on how to resolve a pending H&S issue should the wall collapse. The single skinned wall was leaning out over the pavement and could have become a neussance should it have failed entirely. With a great percentage of the bricks having blown it was recommended to demolish and dispose of the wall through commercial recycling and to replace.
It was decided to replace the wall with a sturdy timber picket fence which was hand made from pressure treated timber. All works were conducted from the pavement to maintain the integrity of the residence lawn and flowerbeds.
